Flat Heroes

I can say to start things off that flat heroes is a very nice candidate if you’re looking for something to play co-op with your friends as there isn’t endless amounts of great co-op games out there. But keep in mind that this is only local so you won’t be able to play with your friends online. You can of course say it’s a bummer that the game doesn’t have any online functions but it doesn’t bother me personally because of the way I played it. I played Flat Heroes the way I guess the developer intended this to be played, on a couch with my homies. But what even is flat heroes? well it’s a minimalistic game with solid controls that asks you to evade whatever trouble might come your way and sometimes fight back. You each control a little square block and try to move around in a tight space frantically avoiding the obstacles to the best of one’s abilities. It’s really fun and hard so make sure you don’t get frustrated if it takes a little while and try to compete with your friend/friends to see who can carry the team to victory and take the lead. I can’t say if it’s fun or not solo but I would imagine the experience to also be quite enjoyable if you decide to do so. But I without a doubt strongly recommend to play this with one or more of your friends as that is what see as the best experience and to be the most fun. All in all a very fun game that deserves to be played. It might be a little stretchy with the 8$ but it’s definitely worth five bucks if on sale.
