As the jackbox party games contains a selection of a few games will I in the review go through each game mode and give it a rating and the lastly give an overall rating of the combined content the game offers.
The games included are “Fibbage 3”, “Survive The Internet”, “Monster Seeking Monster”, “Bracketeering” and “Civic Doodle”
Fibbage 3 5/5
A really awesome fibbage version. We didn’t know this for a long time but this gamemode offers two games. A normal fibbage and another one about you and your friends. The other version is subliminal and a blast to play with some good homies.
Survive The Internet 3.5/5
This gamemode can be a little hit or miss but it’s made in a cool way and offers a very decent experience. You have to come up with weird internet stories and see how you can spice others up and it can be quite fun. It’s a good game mode but not the best.
Monster Seeking Monster 3.4/5
This is a dating sim where you date your fellow players. You each night have to text messages and see if you can get laid. It’s not that easy and can be about popularity or teaming up. Everyone does however have different win conditions so it doesn’t always matter but it can still be fun nonetheless.
We just didn’t like this at all. One of the biggest downsides to this one is how bots kinda makes the experience less fun or optimal. If you aren’t enough players it gets quite worse and it’s just not that fun or interesting to play overall.
Civic Doodle 3/5
This might be your cup of tea if you enjoy drawful or just drawing in general. You another player have to try and improve the current drawing in around 20 seconds and then the other players vote for the best one. It’s quite fun and interesting but the short rounds often make up for some not so well thought out drawings which removes some of the quality of the game.
The Jackbox Party Pack 4: 4/5
A very solid Jackbox game that offers many great gamemodes and is almost worth in it’s own for fibbage 3 in my own opinion.
Genre: Casual, Indie, Strategy
